Pop Voices are approaching its 10-year anniversary this year and are celebrating in style. With a 10-year anniversary concert at the Birmingham Town Hall on 15th July which will incorporate some of their best-loved repertoires from over the past 10 years.
Songs will be performed and made famous by Leona Lewis, Queen, Coldplay, The Beatles, Duran Duran ELO, and The Killers to name but a few! Choir Director Anya Small said “I can’t believe I have been leading choirs for 10 years. It is the best job in the world and the time has passed so quickly because I have been having so much fun!”
This year’s concert will be very special because the choir will be accompanied by the B:Music House Band for the first time.
Over the past 10 years, the choir has grown from 20 people to around 400 and offers 9 different locations to members.
They also provide choir leading to the Sing Solihull Choir at The Core Theatre, Solihull and The Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer Choir. When they all come together they create an amazing wall of harmonious sound and therefore coined their strapline ‘Big Heart Big Sound’.
Pop Voices continues to offer the opportunity to anyone who just loves to sing in an inclusive, friendly and fun environment.
