What does my subscription include:

• Each paying member has the flexibility to attend any of the timetabled classes during the week. If you choose to attend more than one class on occasion there is no additional cost for this.
• Each 1.5-hour class (1 hour for Youth groups) includes vocal warm-ups, a varied repertoire of songs to sing and instruction in vocal harmony and techniques, with a short break in the middle.
• Adult classes receive access to the Pop Voices website members’ area where you can download resources including voice part recordings and lyric sheets of songs arranged for Pop Voices members by the Choir Director.
• NEW – All adult members will have access to video tutorials of each song and voice part provided by the Choir Director.
• Members over the age of 13 can join the Pop Voices group members page on Facebook.
• The opportunity to perform in an annual summer concert and biannual Christmas concert.
• Exceptional opportunities to perform at other small and large-scale events throughout the year.
• The opportunity to audition for solo/ensemble parts in Pop Voices performances.

What doesn’t my subscription include?

• Members wishing to participate in Pop Voices performances will need to purchase a T-shirt priced at £15 for adults and £10 for children.
• Pop Voices is striving to be a paperless environment therefore our resources are available to members in a digital format. However, we appreciate that some of our members for a number of reasons may not have access to specific technology to match this aspiration. Therefore, we can offer a printed lyric sheet pack at the beginning of the term to those who really need it.
• Members who would like recordings put onto CD need to provide the Choir Director with a blank CD-R at the start of each term.

Cancelled or Changed Classes

At least once per year Pop Voices may bring choirs together to sing (Choir Collective) and these events may replace your normal scheduled weekly rehearsal and, due to the combined size of the choirs, at a suitable alternative local venue. All members will be invited to attend the Choir Collective. If the Choir Collective clashes with your usual class time, you are entitled to attend any other class free of charge at your convenience. Choir Collective days of the week will vary so as not to impact the same classes.
If your usual class falls on a Bank Holiday date then you are entitled to attend any other class free of charge at your convenience.
If classes are cancelled due to illness or acts of God (extreme weather, etc) then Pop Voices will endeavour to provide alternative rehearsal time over the next two terms.
No refunds will be given in any of the above circumstances.

Code of Conduct

Pop Voices aims to create a positive and safe environment for all its members. In order to uphold this, we will treat each other with respect and courtesy to ensure an enjoyable experience for all.
Any form of negative or inappropriate behaviour towards others, including members and staff, both written, verbally, or online during rehearsals or performances, could lead to a cancellation of membership.
